Updated 11/13/2017 Very happy with the customer service direct from Karmin. After the Amazon seller's radio silence, I contacted Karmin directly. Although the policy is that the retailer is responsible for the warranty as I didn't get any help from them, Carmine sent me a replacement straight away. My attitude towards this product has not changed since the first review. I figured it wouldn't be too much of a problem as the product is under warranty. However, the problem lies with the seller of "cosmeticbeautyplace". Carmine responded promptly when I asked about the warranty that it was the seller's responsibility to honor the warranty. But the seller just doesn't respond to my repeated requests. I have thin hair so I was very wary of using a straightener but after reading the reviews on Amazon and my stylist's recommendations I decided to give it a try. I am very happy with the results. I use thermal protectant and haven't seen any hair damage so far (I've been using it constantly for 3 months). I would absolutely recommend it to my friends.
