Then, after the first 3-4 months of use, the heating element changed its very temperamental settings. I love this straightener! I curl my hair with it several times a week and the curls last for several days. Yes, it's pricey, but worth it given how premium it looks and feels. I can say it will last a long time. I was also a fan of the presentation of everything - even the packaging it came in was of high quality which I think says a lot about the product.
