Best Mount for Garmin Nuvi 2597 -

After reading less than 5 star reviews I thought this mount might be too cheap. I ordered it anyway and for $12 I was blown away by the quality. It goes well with my 2011 Honda CRV connected to a Garmin nΓΌvi2597LMT (5 inch screen). It holds the GPS firmly and is in a great position for the driver's view. Again, the device isn't wobbly as some reviews state and the ball fits perfectly and doesn't change position during the ride. Some spacers are included if the CD changer bay is too wide, but in my case they are not needed. As mentioned, do not over tighten the bracket - I pull on the unit from time to time and it has never come loose. There is very little vibration. The charging cable, which had to be plugged in to update the traffic data, fits well and doesn't interfere with the GPS positioning, as stated in another review. The radio disc is somewhat locked, but both tuning in to the radio and using the CD player are available. Of course, you can't insert a new CD with the unit built in, but with six CDs and a USB connection I have many hours of good music. By the way, Garmin nΓΌvi2597LMT is just great. My wife loves it - she hated our older tom-tom. The traffic warning and alternate route suggestion saved me over an hour in Houston. I bought a Garmin from Best Buy and even with the "deal" it cost $15 more than the Revain. Dear Revvan.
