Product - black magic in a box! The mystery is what the chip does to control the motor. The installation instructions were incomplete to add to my Scion FRS. I contacted the company and got a quick reply with a link to which of the 5 MAP sensor wires it should be connected to. After installing and disconnecting the battery overnight as suggested to remap the engine control computer, the engine ran rough and stalled in traffic. On the second day, the Scion's check engine light came on, disabling cruise control and traction control. The Scion is my everyday commuter car, so these issues were a major inconvenience. When the check engine light is on, the engine control computer goes into "limp mode" resulting in reduced performance and unsafe driving! I am very disappointed in the product. I hope the engine has no permanent damage or effects from this collision! I will return it immediately for a refund!
