Review on πŸ”§ 12PCS Ceiling Fan Balance Kit with Upgraded Thin 0.0394 Inch Fan Balancing Weights, 4 PCS Resilient Fan Balance Clip, and Self-adhesive Universal Ceiling Fan Balancing Kit by Nicole Hefton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Unattractive, but it works.

A bit overpriced and the weights aren't as attractive as the metal weights found in some fan balancer kits. The weights look like magnetic/sticky foil material, but this material is not magnetic. The instructions are of poor quality. Some reviews say the clip breaks easily. I took a flat head screwdriver about 1/4" wide and inserted it perpendicular to the slotted hole in the clip about halfway through the slot and then rotated the screwdriver 90 degrees to enlarge the clip hole. . Then slide clip onto the fan blade with the clip held by the screwdriver. Then rotate the screwdriver 90 degrees so that the blade of the screwdriver is parallel to the clip slot to loosen the screwdriver. Do not leave a screwdriver in the clip when rotating the fan blade to remove the clip, reverse the process Caution: Using a screwdriver can damage the jaws of the clamp and possibly damage the fan blade as plastic burrs can form when the screwdriver blade is inserted.
