UPDATE BELOW. I have such a dry scalp that at times it literally feels like my head is on fire, like fire ants are swarming. I've cried in pain before. My hair is also very dry at the ends and my straight hair is frizzy and breaks because it's so dry. I've used it for the first time and although my head is still a bit itchy, the overwhelming feeling of fire has gone and my hair looks a lot smoother. I'll probably update this after a few weeks of use. UPDATE: Overall I love this set, the health of my hair itself is amazing, my hair is softer than last year or so. My main issue though is that the shampoo is so incredibly thick and I can barely get it to penetrate my scalp and my flakes are about the same if not worse. It really helps with the burning sensation on my scalp, but only for a very short time and there is no change in scalp health. However, I will continue to use the conditioner for the health of my hair strands, but to restore the health of my scalp I may need to choose a different brand.
