Review on ๐Ÿš— High-Quality Replacement Cabin Air Filter for KIA SOUL - TYC 800147P by Brandon Daughenbaugh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Breathe easier now.

I honestly didn't think it was possible to replace this filter. Its location made me think I would have to take it to the dealer at some point and have them do it. NOT CORRECT. Quick start: Unscrew the three screws under the bottom edge of the glove box. You open the glove box, empty it, and remove the five screws along the top edge (two on each side, back and in the hole). Don't lose screws. Now you pull the glove box out of the hole. Be careful, it will look like it won't move, and then it will move. Quickly. Place it in the passenger footwell or wherever, remember not to mix up these screws. The huge hole you have now has a square nozzle about an inch and a half wide and 6 inches high with what looks like a latch. This is a filter box. Release the latch and the floor will swing down and out of the way (towards the fire wall). Reach out and pull out the old filter. Be brave, it's probably evil (see my photos above) and covered in all sorts of stuff. Open the new filter and place it in the box, snap it back into place (if the latch releases and falls off, don't worry - just insert the flat part into the hole on the other side of the box - and go on). . From there the reverse process. Just note: when you put the glove box back in its hole, give it a few hard taps/slaps on the top edge to snap it into the clips. Screws - which you didn't lose, did you? - Return in reverse order or whatever. And boom; you breathe clean Now you can rate the product directly. As for the 2011 Kia Soul!. Fits perfectly. It even seems a little heavier than the used one I pulled out, which leads me to believe this product is more reliable. I have more than a few miles to go but it will have many uses this summer. Last year I had an accident with whipped cream on the passenger side which made the car smell a bit. After replacing the filter, the smell has almost completely disappeared. I'm guessing it will take a couple of weeks for the system to fully bleed, but I have high hopes. I will update when I know more. Overall this is a perfect product, does what it says on the tin, arrived early and is value for money. If you argue, stop. Click on the purchase link. And be happy.
