The footrest is easy to install and very comfortable when getting on and off. Installed on Tundra 2011. As other reviewers have noted, you need a long ratchet/torque wrench or pry bar to remove the bolts from the truck. Also, I needed a 19mm deep socket to reattach the bedstep bolts to the truck. Luckily I had one on hand. There are also some good videos on installing Bedstep on YouTube. We use our truck for travel and to transport bicycles, among other things. Boarding and disembarking quickly becomes boring. My knees appreciated the step. Our 4 year old loves it too. The footrest makes it easier to get in and out for loading and unloading the platform.
