Review on MICHELIN Latitude Tour HP 255/55 R19 111W summer by Adam Edison ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product at a good price, I recommend to try it.

I finally looked for the Good Year Eagle LS 2 - 225/55/18 regular, Outlander XL car, drove 54 thousand km - hard, noisy, but handling on dry pavement and steering sharpness were at a height. My Michelin Latitude Tour HP 225/60/18 100H came from St. Petersburg, tires for 4x4 are developed, they have a mileage increased by 30%. I drove a thousand km - it became much softer, quieter, it swallows holes much better. Handling has slightly decreased, due to the 60% profile (+22 mm) the steering is not so sharp, the XL has become a little more rolly, but on the track it’s even good, at hard 55 mm every steering wheel turn was felt, you won’t relax. There is no fender on the tire, i. E. the edge of the disk protrudes slightly from the tire, there was a bump stop on the regular ones, the tires went beyond the edge of the disk - the view was more pejonist, the wheel seemed wider. On Michelin, the look has become more jeeper, more practical, but not so aesthetically pleasing. I'm tired of looking for the production date code, it turns out that this oval with 4 digits embossed 2912 (29 week 12 years) after DOT is on the inside of me (the jamb of tire fitters, the oval with the date should be on the outside of the wheel).

Pros
  • Quiet, soft, holds the road well in the rain, you can drive on light snow
Cons
  • There is no bump stop, the edge of the disc protrudes beyond the tire, if you press against the Soviet curb, you will scratch the disc. Because of this, the tire is visually narrower, for which I take off a star.
