This is some good stuff!

This filament was really easy to dial in. Very little tinkering and it seems to print well over a wide range of temperatures. Hairspray may be needed for adhesion.

Pros
  • BEGINNER & EXPERT FRIENDLY: Hatchbox 3D Filaments are made with quality and consistency in mind, making it easy for novice users to get started with basic settings. Seasoned printers can push their designs to the limit without worrying about purity, tolerance or printing issues.
Cons
  • Can produce a glossy finish which may not be desired

Fantastic filament. My new number one filament.

Out of the box, filament performed OK. After drying it properly (which you should do with EACH and EVERY spool of filament you purchase) this stuff prints like a dream. Dialed in temps and retract settings, and this stuff doesn’t string at all. I tried this as a substitute to esun’s PETG, and I will never go back. Esun product was stringy and poorly wound to the point where multiple prints failed because the filament was wound over itself. Glue stick helps adhesion if you’re using a glass build

Cons
  • May produce inconsistent results between batches

Received an already open spool

Purchased this Hatchbox White PETG bc my primary brand didnt have white in stock. 3rd spool purchased so far for this color/type. No issues with the first two, but on this third spool the box was not sealed, filament was not in a sealed bag and had no desiccant. The spool was clearly unwound and reword a bit. Planning on using it still but when buying an item that specifically says "3D Printer Filament Vacuumed Sealed With Desiccant" you should expect to get that

Pros

Cons
  • Can be more brittle than other filament options

Prints well - my new review

I purchased this PETG filament to build a Caliburn nerf rifle for my son. Printing in on an Ender 3v2 with a Sprite Pro extruder and a magnetic PEI build plate. I've used both purple Elmers gluestick and dollar store hairspray as an adhesion promoter and a shield for the pei sheet, and this filament sticks easily to both, but comes right off when the plate cools. I'm printing at 240/70 with a .4 nozzle and 0.15 layer height. First layer I print 150% width at 10mm/s on the first layer. The…

Best pla filament on my review.

Hatchbox is hands down the best affordable pla you can get. I've printed with alot of different pla and it's by far my favorite. I've used their red, black, bronze, transparent red, orange, green, and matte brown. Too many to list just buy it. You won't be disappointed!

Pros
  • 3D Printing Filament
Cons
  • May require additional cleaning after printing to remove residue

Color is good but strings a lot compared to other PETG

I got this for the color to save a few bucks over Prusa Orange. It's a close match but requires a lot of cleanup compared to polymaker, Prusa and Fulament brands. I will stick with what I know now that I have all the orange stuff printed I want.

Pros
  • 3D Printing Supplies
Cons
  • Prone to clogging printer nozzles

My go to for 3d printing filament's

I am a huge fanboy when it comes down to the Hatch box PETG filaments. the color choices and the quality are one of the best that I have had the pleasure of printing within my short time printing. very easy to use. no messy spools and sealed very well. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a quality solution for bad and inconsistent quality.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • May require additional ventilation to use

Solid filament for my opinion

Prints stupid fast. You can print this at 60mm/s which is unusual for petg. The "bronze” color might as well be "dark Chocolate” my friends of course made poop jokes about it. If you do print at 60mm/s expect over extrusion flaws.

Pros
  • Love it !
Cons
  • Can be difficult to use for beginners
