I chose this camera to replace an old digital camera that my mother-in-law died. It's not technically sharp, and while the camera is point-and-shoot, it didn't have the same photo-editing capabilities as the old camera. The camera didn't hold a battery charge for a period of time and there may have been an issue in that regard that I don't want to be honest about. I sent the camera back because my mother-in-law didn't like the way it worked. In the right hands, this can be a very good camera, but if you want simplicity, look elsewhere. The manual was 94 pages long.
