Review on Wera 05008712001 Kraftform Phillips Screwdriver by John Patterson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the most comfortable and technically superior screwdrivers I have ever bought!

I have never owned a high-quality, high-tech screwdriver like this Wera. The handle is very well researched and developed, it is based on someone squeezing a plasticine-like material with their hand. It literally fills your hand like it's molded for you, and it's got a good mix of hard plastic (black) and rubber (green) to help you hold it properly. The shaft is strong, without hesitation, made of good steel. The tip is both magnetic and laser engraved, with the latter capturing screws with microscopic teeth in the metal created by laser engraving. These teeth literally hook into the screw and allow the screwdriver to be held in place horizontally without even touching it, it's amazing technology. These Wera screwdrivers with green and black handles are not intended for hammering, so only use them for hammering. Her black and yellow screwdrivers are for hammering/chiselling. This screwdriver is made in the Czech Republic. I recommend this screwdriver 100%, it is excellent.
