Inexpensive backup power supply for Dell laptop
My old Kensington Universal Laptop power supply doesn't have the correct tip for my slightly old Dell XPS 13. This adapter allows me to use the 'N19' tip to power my laptop. However, note that when the laptop is powered this way it won't charge the battery, it just will power the laptop (with no drain on the battery).Update: I found an old Alienware/Dell laptop adapter with the same N19-style tip. When I used the 'iGuerburn Female 7.4mm x 5.0mm to 4.5mm x3.0mm Male Charger Adapter Power Connector Converter Cable DC Jack for Dell Hp' with it, the laptop battery charges. Updated to 5 stars.
