12V 2A 24W UL Listed AC/DC Switching Power Supply Adapter For CCTV Camera LED Strip Light Review

So I have a young puppy and recently she chewed through the power supply on my 3TB Hard Drive, enclosed in an Walmart Basics enclosure. I checked to be sure it would be the proper fit, and volt/amp and it is. Perfect, does the job as intended!

When I used this PS to run a small amplifier, there was a low background hum that didn't change volume when the volume knob was turned. I put in a different PS, one that came with an old hard drive, and the hum went away. It would be nice if someone could test these PS's to evaluate power fluctuations. I am sure it will be fine for other less critical applications, like running LED lights.

Like another here my Unifi USG wouldnt boot up and just had a blinking console light. After some research on Unifi forums, it became clear the problem had to do with the unifi power adapter gone bad or not powerful enough. I bought the 12V 2 amp model of Chanzon and my USG is happy as can be again. Not sure about longevity but relieved that the solution was simple.

The adapters are a nice extra, especially the one that let's you hard-wire the connections. And the side-ways form factor allows use in a power strip without having to use the last plug at the end. Who can say for longevity and reliability? But from an up-front cost standpoint, this is a great value.

I like everything about this power supply. It just didn't work for me because one important detail was missing in the description. Chanzon clearly listed compatibility with 2.1 x 5 mm or 2.5 x 5 mm connector barrel diameters but failed to include the LENGTH of the connector barrel. Is this important? Yes. Overall seems to be a high quality product. Pleasantly surprised. It has some heft to it and the wire feels good too. Wire is 18 AWG rated for 300V so it’s more than adequate.

I purchased this to replace a burnt out power supply that came with my Beamswork LED aquarium light. The original power supply was 1 amp and only lasted about 6 months, so i replaced it with a 2 amp figuring it would last longer. This is a switching power supply so it's higher quality. My LED Light lit up nice and bright. Just make sure you are selecting the correct diameter plug. Satisfied with my purchase.

Used these on LED light strips when their original adaptors got broken and stuck in a socket. These work great, seems sturdier and stronger with a longer cord, great value.

Purchased this to replace 12vdc wall adapter that came with a 23" monitor I had just purchased. The adapter that came with the monitor was highly subject to HF RF from my 100w Ham Radio on any band.
