No Problems best in my review

Purchased to replace a bad power supply that came with a light strip. This unit is much better than the one it is replacing. It works just fine.

This works so far for its intended power draw. Looks like a laptop charger. Good for led lights and power window shade motors

Does not work as described.

This product is a piece of junk. It wasn’t able to handle 6 amps so I found a use for it driving 4.5 a at 12 volts For LED lights. After a month it’s stay outputting 10 volts making this lights dim and this a total piece of garbage.

Works well, and UL certified unlike many cheap PSUs

I am using this to power a class d amp with class a tube preamp, inside a cigar box. I needed something with a little higher amperage, as I am powering both of those from one supply. This works perfectly. It seems well built, and unlike a lot of cheap power supplies it it UL rated.

BEWARE: 12V 6A power adapter product delivered NOT the same as pictured on Walmart

The 12V 6A (72W) power adapter that I received is NOT the same product as shown in the Walmart.com product pictures. The adapter comes with a 2 prong instead of the higher quality 3 prong AC power cord seen on better and higher current AC/DC adapters. Additionally, the product arrived in only a thin plastic bag inside an Walmart.com basic plastic bag with absolutely no protective packaging surrounding the adapter (no box, bubble wrap, etc.). Poor quality: my feedback

I bought one about three weeks ago, but didn't work. I tested with my multi meter and confirmed noDC-12V output. It was returned.

Excellent 12v 6amp power adapter

My 12v 5 amp power supply went bad in my home av cabinet. This power adapter upgraded the power to 6 amps. Changed the adapter end and equipment powered up beautifully.

Well priced adapter

The power adapter worked perfectly and appears to be well built. I have not used the full output so not sure if it can handle the full 6amps. I can say that it does work up to 5amps with no problems. I let it run for 48 hours with a load of 5amps and still works perfectly. Would buy this again.

No drama strip light repair

Used this to replace a transformer on some freaked-out (flashing lights) LED strip lights--a one minute operation, smooth as butter.

Nice transformer for a great price!

Great transformer. Using to power IKEA 12v lighting. Works great. Has a very bright green LED on the transformer part which is easily covered with electrical tape

Can't handle rated Amperage.

I'm running close to a 6A workbench light and this PS couldn't handle the rated current. It heats up significantly to the point of shutoff. I've added a picture where you can see the damage that started during normal use on the units casing because of the heat. I was thinking it might be a single case failure but the second one performed just the same. Personally I'm worried that these are a safety risk and i'll be throwing out the additional ones i bought.

Great save! best in my review

Just rec'd my power adapter, and it fit perfectly (according to described specs) with my Edge 48" LED aquarium light on my 90 gallon tank. My other adapter got wet and went dead. It was hard to find an adapter that fit, too. This was a good deal and got the job done!

Works great and is a good deal, too!

Works great and is a good deal, too! Easily handles the 3-4 Amp load without getting too hot. In general it's a good idea not to run a power supply at or near its maximum for extended periods due to heating, so these 6-Amp supplies are perfect for continuous 2-4 Amp loads.

"STROBE LIGHT ", not what I needed.

No where did the seller indicate this was a blinking light power supply. I purchased the adapter for LED lighting over a work area in my shop. When I plugged it in it immediately gave me a strobe light effect. Totally useless over my workshop.
