My cable modem was acting funny in that it had the lights on but wasn't doing anything. After some troubleshooting, I discovered that the AC adapter wasn't outputting the right voltage. This replacement adapter met the specs and got me up and running in no time. Saved me over $100 as I almost bought a new modem. Has been working like a champ for the past 5 months, no complaints.
