exactly what I needed

Somehow I lost the power adapter to my WD external hard drive, and all the extra cords I had with the 12V end wouldn't fit the drive, so I got this and it works! It comes with 3 extra ends that fit on the adapter so I was able to use the plug I needed and fit right in!

I lost my original power cable and this one had four connectors and one fit my HD perfectly! Finally able to back up my computer again!

Worked for less than a year

I used this power supply for at most, the equivalent of 10 days over the last 11mths. When it was not in use, it was unplugged. At last plug in, not working. Checked with a DVM, putting out 0V. Click the warranty link and it says to go to the manufacturers website. Good luck finding that!

The extra connector pieces helps. One of them fits my hard drive perfectly

I have been looking for an adapter piece for an old hard drive that I had but couldn’t find the exact size. This adapter came with connector pieces for different sizes and one of the fits my hard drive perfectly and it’s working again. I’m able to view the stuff on my hard drive now. Thanks

Lost the original power supply for external drive, this one works great

We misplaced the original power supply for an external hard drive, and needed to complete a backup before upgrading computers, so needed to order a new power supply. This one arrived quickly, is reasonably priced, and worked fine. I'd buy one again if I ever need to - but hope I don't lose another one.

A great replacement plug for my old WD My Book Essential

I must say.this seller's replacement plug has saved my memories! Some time ago, my original plug broke and I have since been trying to find a decent replacement plug for my old WD My Book Essential. Thanks to this power plug, I can finally access all my old videos, pictures and music that I had stored on my WD external hard drive. Thank you so much! :)

Perfect Replacement Cord

The cord for my old 4TB WD My Book died and I was left being forced to switch cables with my newer 8TB drive when I wanted to access it. This cord works perfectly and I'm using both my drives like new again.

Did not power the product it said it would.

I feel like I wasted time when I could of went to local wal mart and took same risk. I specifically wanted it cause it said my product was compatible. It was not.

Slim adapter that works

I have a wd book 12tb drive, and my power adapter wire is borked. This adapter comes 1 day after I ordered it. The size of the adapter is much smaller than the one that comes with my hdd, and it is working as expected.

Memory Saver! - my new review

This is a great product for a reasonable price. I was terrified I would loose all my info on my WD 2TB external drive. The power supply came with three adaptors and fit my drive perfectly. It powered the drive and I have access to my precious data again.

Power Supply Successfully Did it's Job!

I have lost my power cord to my My Book Essential External Hard Drive. Yet, I still wanted to access it to retrieve wanted files that I had put on there. This power supply was successful in aiding me, though I bought one power supply previously that was unsuccessful (I think it had the wrong amps or something).
