Good price bright LEDs

Bought this strip to put over a reef aquarium to enhance the coral effect. It seems hard to beat the brightness of this strip, with 600 of 5054 LEDs packed into 5 metres. Just make sure you connect it efficiently and with enough power. I ended up using four strips, each 4 feet long, attached to a 1/8" flat aluminum plate. Using a 4 amp power supply prior to cutting the strip to 4 feet resulted in a significant power outage of one End to the other Now with strips Divided into 4 x 4ft lengths and each gets their own power cord there is no noticeable dimming and they are very bright However the 4A is not strong enough so I have ordered a spare 8A to be on the safe side definitely blue but has a slight purple tint Update 6/19/19: After plugging into an 8A power supply these strips really shine I've uploaded a few more photos to show how I set them up (all photos with just the LED strips light up). The second photo (less blue) was taken in orange glasses over the camera lens (blue with filter). The connection points are very small, but after trial and error we managed to I soldered the cable connections. Happy with this DIY project and definitely saved me money. Please note these are not for growing coral, they are just an addition to my T5.
