The light keeps going on and off. Hunter tends not to react. DO NOT BUY THIS FAN!

The fan part works well enough and is fairly quiet, but when you turn on the light it doesn't stay on all the time. It will randomly disappear and then reappear. The really DISAPPOINTING thing is the sound of the Hunter's crickets! It has been over a month since I have received NO reply despite contacting them several times and providing the requested documentation. I was willing to give them time to "make things right" (or at least pretend they're trying), but after more than a month, so be it. Hunter is usually a good brand but from now on I will only buy ceiling fans with mechanical switches.
