When you open the battery compartment you will see two springs on the bottom and NORMALLY for any other use the NEGATIVE end of the battery will always slide over the spring end. NOT THIS TIME. I was lucky I saw in the questions "see. pic #3" and of course the batteries are mounted where a positive end goes on the spring. THEN the remote worked. But I've never seen a battery like this before. Confusing of course. And who looks at all the pictures of a product when it claims to be the right remote control?
