I really like this fish finder. I use it in canoes and it's fantastic. This is indeed exactly what I was looking for. It seems really accurate and the app is reliable. I really wish it had some sort of display function (like the photo Revain listed for it) but for the price it gets the job done. I've compared it to other handheld fish finders in this price range and the Vexilar seems to outperform all the others. My only issue is that it hits the side of the canoe when paddling, but I don't think there's anything I can do about that.
