Review on 🍳 Enhance Your Cookware: Le Creuset Signature Stainless Steel Knob, Large by Mitchell Norman

I am mixed with this pen. This is an authentic Le Creuest but it is made from stamped sheet metal stock. The grip isn't as solid as it seems. Maybe it's made to conduct less heat, but I have to let you know about the durability. Not sure if it will last long as it's not a solid piece of SS metal like it looks in the picture. Please document if you find a SOLID SS grip. I bought this handle to match the (roughly) six-quart Le Creuset Dutch Oven that we bought at the end of the Crate and Barrel sale on Michigan Avenue. And yes, we decided to make a no-knead bread recipe for the NY Times. We first used aluminum foil under the lid AFTER removing the phenolic handle that came with this model. The included phenolic handle can melt at high temperatures. over 375 (or something like that; see manual). This pen does the job, but only time will tell if it will hold up.
