I have an Oreck XL Pro Plus that is about 6 years old. Lately I've just felt like it was really hard to push and wasn't absorbing things that well. I thought I might have to buy a new vacuum cleaner. I noticed the brush on my Oreck looked awful, all the bristles were worn out and missing after so much vacuuming (I vacuum A LOT). I stumbled across this new brush set, saw great reviews and decided to give it a try for $12. WOW, my oreck is like new again. Excellent suction, excellent carpet care, very easy to push. Changing was also easy. Luckily after 6 years my belt was in great condition so I didn't really need it but replaced it anyway. If your Oreck isn't working as well as it used to, take this one, replace the brush and it's like NEW again! Can't beat the price. I think I will change the brush once a year or as needed as I vacuum a lot. Love it!
