Review on Asus P8Z77 V LK Intel Motherboards by Goro Sekiguchi ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I definitely recommend buying, I didnt notice any disadvantages.

I collected the following config on it: Intel Core i5-3570K OEM Noctua NH-L12 Kingston KHX24C11T2K2/8X Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 980Mhz OCZ Vertex 4 Sata III Chieftec CFT-700-14CS 700W DDR only starts at 2200 for some reason, and not at native 2400, I'll still play with the timings. CPU multiplier 45, at a voltage of 1.250V it works stably. Raid 0 created from the usual 2 hard drives, convenient, productive. For lovers of silence, I definitely recommend connecting all the coolers via PWM and configuring everything through the standard Asus Fan Expert utility (really a worthy thing), the only thing I installed from Asus utilities.

Pros
  • -Many interfaces, incl. WiFi -USB 3.0 on the building panel + pins on the motherboard for 2 ports -2 Sata controllers - Support Sata3 6GBit x 4 ports (out of 8) - Support for Raid arrays x 4 ports -Equipment -BIOS intuitive -Overclock at 3570K keeps 4.5GHz, easy at U=1.250V
Cons
  • You can say they don't exist. Or a minor minus, which upset me a little, is the location of the additional power supply for the processor. It is impossible to reach the wire through the Cable Management holes without any extension cords. I had to connect ugly, straight pull over the video card.

Its pros: + Good overclocking potential + Functionality + Radiators + 3 year warranty + USB 3.0 + Design Has cons: - Bios is not very convenient (maybe I just didn’t figure it out) - Expensive
