When we bought this a year and a half ago I had high hopes for a smoothly gliding shower curtain. Unfortunately our experience with them was far from excellent and I looked for an alternative. They keep tipping over, resulting in the curtain no longer sliding easily and also scratching the cornice. The clasps keep coming loose, which can also contribute to not being able to stay upright. Also, setting them up on a ledge can be a bit difficult at first. You can scratch the cornice. This is a one-off annoyance, but there seems to be room for improvement. We previously had a version that worked pretty well; I'm not sure how they differ. Maybe our shower curtain had magnets at the bottom that put extra force on the rings to keep them from tipping over?
