Pretty good insulator!
Attaching the adhesive tape according to the cleaning instructions is very easy and ensures that our windows are further sealed. I no longer see that thin line of light coming out from under the window sill. Using duct tape was a very good idea and I hope that the duct tape not only prevents drafts but also keeps out the dust and grit that comes with sand storms from time to time.
