They are good for occasional wear but not strong enough for everyday use. You will probably get 2 or 3 uses from them. They get tangled and fall off very easily, but are significantly cheaper than some competing products. The color went really well with my hair (I dye it a soft black) and was easy to apply and style. I've included photos (sorry I couldn't load them without them coming out the side?) so you can see what it looks like from the front, back and top. I didn't manage to hide the strip completely, but it really shows little - only if you look directly at the very top along the dividing line and the lights are bright they shine right on it. You can fluff up the roots of your hair around it a bit to camouflage it. There was no smell as some other reviewers have mentioned. I'm sure the frizz will diminish with a few washes, brushed or worn, but I haven't done that yet. When I do, I'll try to curl them with a flat iron just like I do my own hair. It will be interesting to see the results but my overall rating of this product is that it would be great for a costume party, date night or something similar. Many people style their hair professionally and pay well over $10 to have their hair done just once. This is a good alternative to that. Just know what you are buying and be careful with it and replace it after a few uses.
