Review on AMD Athlon II X2 270 Regor 3.4 GHz Socket AM3 Dual-Core Processor – Retail ADX270OCGMBOX: High-Performance Desktop CPU with Dual Cores and 2x1 MB L2 Cache by Amar Amar ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

I'd had enough of this processor with its two cores overclocked to 3.4 GHz. When combined with a GTX 250 with 512 MB of video memory and 2 GB of RAM, games like Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Grand Theft Auto 4 ran exceptionally well on my system. Recently, every software started cutting multi-threaded, etc. planned obsolescence, which means that the loot is a coward and will eat the hardware. As a result, rather than purchasing this hardware, the 1151 v2 mother board and G5400 are acquired almost for nothing. The G5400 features the same number of cores as the previous hardware, but it is already capable of supporting multiple threads. Video card, HDD, case, etc. remain old. A brand new PC may be yours for just 10,000 rubles.

Pros
  • - tenacious (working since 2022) performance and the possibility of overclocking (normal frequency of 2.7 GHz, overclocked to 3.4 GHz; the mother with the simplest chipset did not let it go any further) - the price at the time of purchasing was 2022 three thousand, 2022 three hundred.
Cons
  • The years 2022 and 2022 have finally arrived. now we have reached the point when technology is becoming obsolete. She then continues working, although the pace is no longer sufficient at this point. There is little cache, and DDR2 memory is still sluggish in 2022.
