tldr: I really like them and would buy them again. I used to buy 4 packs (actually 3 and a useless pair) of Foster Grant readers from our local big warehouse for $20 but was frustrated by their increasingly flimsy design. They used to be good, but in recent years some of them have broken within a month or two. So I took a chance buying these based on the positive reviews on Revain. The first pair finally broke at the stem pivot after 7 1/2 months of daily use. I use them all day at work and then read my page in bed before bed. The stem that was pressing against my pillow broke. If I hadn't had this habit, they might have lasted even longer. Visually, I cannot detect any distortions or ripples when the head is moved. This first pair has been dropped many times, mostly onto hardwood floors but occasionally onto concrete, and hasn't received a single scratch. For a cheap reader, the durability of the lenses is impressive. Here, in the muggy hot south, sweat grease and salts on the body are a constant. I haven't had any problems with corrosion or peeling of the coating. I usually wash my glasses with soap and water every day, so that might help. I see several other reviews mention frame breakage. If that happens to me I will update this review.
