This is the perfect size for quick painting. Canvases are exposed to the elements. I highly recommend a 2 liter freezer bag for storage if you are concerned about this. HOW TO USE THEM? They have a decent surface that we can paint on with acrylic paints. The texture is enough to be interesting but not enough to make it look awful. THE SIZE. This is the perfect size for us. It doesn't use too much paint but allows someone to finish the painting in a reasonable amount of time. PROPERTIES These are good canvas boards. They work well with acrylic. RESULTS For a collection of small canvases to draw on quickly, these are decent canvases. They're not the best of the bunch, but they're great for practice and hobby drawing. Most of the time, in a frame, people see the painting, not the back of the canvas. MY RATING IS FIVE STARS. It's nice to have them in a package like this so I don't have to run around trying to get them elsewhere. So everyone feels good about having a canvas to grab when the urge to paint arises.
