First off, how cute is the donut pattern? I have a nearly 90 lb black Lab with lots of energy. He would always pull the leash and harness we had before and drag me down hills, into people's yards, and even into the oncoming lane when I was chasing animals. Not funny. Or sure. As it got warmer I wanted to spend more time with our dog but I could only stand outside for 5-10 minutes because he was so bad at walking on a leash. This gentle leader changed EVERYTHING. It took maybe 5 minutes to properly adjust the padded leash on our dog and we went outside to try it out. He doesn't drag me around anymore! He walks at a good, reasonable pace and now we get to spend a lot more time outdoors. The leader helps him keep the line and control when he goes for a walk. The soft leash is of high quality and shows no signs of wear. This gentle leader has truly changed the way we live! There are far fewer disappointments in our family and we are much happier because of it.
