While I loved the purple handles, the quality of these brushes has been less than satisfactory. One of them fell apart during my first use.the bristles just fell out completely and the ferule was loose. The one brush I had wanted, the 1" wash is holding up, so I'm thankful for that.I also want to add that my first package of these brushes arrived outside of their package and loose in the amazon package. I had to return the first set and get a replacement. The company did this promptly and I thank them for that. However, with the second set falling apart so quickly.I have to say that it is likely I will never purchase this brand of brush again. I'm not sure what is going on. Many people have told me that this is a good brand of brush, but this has not been the case for me.
