Do not charge!: Suitcases, holsters and cases

Suitcase is ok. It passed the first waterproof test well, but I can't comment on actual waterproofness as I've only put my phone in this case ONCE! After putting my phone in the case and attaching the bezels, I tried to charge my phone which failed. Opening this case requires a major struggle. Every time I have to open it I worry that I will dent the plastic frame, puncture or damage the plastic film on the front and back, or break one of the clips that hold the two frames together. I understand frames need to be securely attached to each other. and in this case it seems that it can offer a pretty good resistance to damage. BUT, how useful is the case when you have to take it off every time you need to charge it?! Especially removing that cover is a big test?! For the record, I don't have a crazy giant charging cable. The charging cable I have will work with any other case for this phone. It renders this case useless when I have to take my phone out of the case every time I need to charge it, which can be up to twice a day. The only benefit for me from this case at the moment is that I know for sure that when I go somewhere, the phone can get wet or be damaged by dirt, dust, sand or moisture. I mean, most of the time these things happen when you least expect them, right? Thank you for a great phone case that loses one of its most important features. I haven't checked the headphone jack, but I can only think of a similar problem.
