Review on ๐Ÿพ PawZ Dog Boots - Rubber Dog Booties, Waterproof Snow Boots for Dogs - Paw Protection for Dogs - Pack of 12 Dog Shoes (Black) by Monique Martin

Useful and charming. However, the dog is in pain.

This has been on my wish list for a long time. With most of the shoes, my dog either walked awkwardly or took off the shoes right away. But the Pawz's thin rubber material allows my dog to walk naturally and stay in the shoe. However, they last forever. Still in our first set (except it pierced its nail on the 4th wear). These shoes come in really handy in any weather and I don't like washing my paws after every walk, even a muddy, sticky walk. When my dog broke his claws, I made him wear pawz while bathing to keep his paw from getting wet. They are adorable too. I like the black color as they look like my dog is wearing leather shoes. When we go out, he gets bombarded with compliments. My only problem with pausing is that my dog regularly squeals in pain when I try to get rid of him. And I'm not trying to pull it down on him, I'm gently tearing it from him. Confused, I began to examine his paws very closely before and after use. One day I noticed that his thumbs (or whatever you call them over the rest of his paws) are red, warm and a little swollen. And yes, I bought the right size. So now I'm assuming Pawz can either shrink or rub against my dog's sensitive skin on his walks. I've found a few workarounds and one possible workaround: 1. Span the Pawz entryway by holding them over the legs of the furniture.2. Put the patch around his paws before putting pause on his paws.3. Put some oil or lotion on the part of his legs that Pause's entrance area might touch (I understand oil can damage Pause). Just use Pawz on its hind legs.5. Get a bigger Pawz (haven't tried it yet. Will edit the review when I do).
