I recently bought a portable CD/DVD drive for my new desktop system that didn't have room for an optical drive. I figured I'd need some sort of case/bag/cover for the device as well to reduce potential damage. I picked this up in part for the color accent so I could spot the disc cluttered on my desk. The outside pocket can also be closed with a zipper, so that you don't lose any additional cables or small items stored inside. Overall, I'm glad I spent a few bucks for some peace of mind.
