After a trip to Italy ten years ago I was looking for quality 100% cotton waffle bath towels where they were provided by the hotel we were staying at. on the Amalfi Coast. After years of frustration of only being able to find these types of towels for the kitchen, not the bathroom, and after buying many "variations" including waffle on one side and terry on the other, I found finally these beautiful towels. The towels are the perfect size for bath towels and offer the two key elements I was looking for: 1) super absorbent and 2) quick drying. Having lived in the southeastern United States for decades and using traditional terry towels that never fully dry out and get musty after a single use, I love these towels. If you've never used these types of towels, don't be put off by the fact that they're often a little hard at first. Simply wash the first few washes in warm (not hot) water with a little white vinegar and baking soda, and tumble dry (or tumble dry if you can) on low instead of "toasting" in the dryer. Dryer. They lose their stiffness quickly and I know from past experience that this fabric becomes wonderfully soft and absorbent over time. Thank you for making them available in the US!
