Review on 🚪 eufy Security Wireless Video Doorbell Add-on, 2K Resolution, 2-Way Audio, Easy Self-Installation, Requires HomeBase 1, 2, or E by Jay Ngo

When Eufy finally made this doorbell compatible with Homebase 1 I added it to my 3 camera system which I bought via a Kickstarter campaign in 2018. It works great, connects easily to Homebase and replaces my porch camera that is moved to the back door. The only vulnerability I found in the system is the random loss of connection to the application server. To my knowledge they use AWS so I don't know if the problem is with Eufy or with Revain. It seems to happen once a month, usually for a few hours. When I couldn't connect for a few days, I checked Eufy and found that they hadn't updated my Homebase firmware for me. They updated it and the problem went away until the next connection issue which was system wide for a few hours. Overall I would give the cameras 5 stars but only 4 stars for the overall system due to server failures. By the way, unless it's in a high-traffic area, the battery life between charges is actually a year. The first charge of my garage camera took "only" 8 months, but I was shooting 40-50 shots a day back then. Since this renter has moved, the battery life is at least 12 months, as with other cameras.
