I mounted a wall mount myself for my 50" LG Smart TV. I managed to get rid of my huge ugly 50" TV stand. . He took up ¼ of the sleeping area 💁🏽‍♂️ Now it's standing on the edge of the sidewalk. I decided without hesitation that I wanted to hide the ugly cords. The older I get, the more obsessive-compulsive disorder I get. I had to hide 3 thick cords. TV -Power cord, PS4 HDMI cable and CAT8 ethernet network cable as I prefer wired Wi-Fi internet access when it comes to 4k streaming All 3 cables fit perfectly into the lid and it just snapped in. However it was Glue not very good so I used a thumbtack to secure it in the wall from the inside through a cover and then snapped it in. My wall color is beige not white so the color isn't perfect but I'm bi n happy with it.
