I replaced my old 2 wire heat only thermostat and installed a new Honeywell thermostat that required a C wire with 24 volts. I installed the transformer in the furnace room and ran 7 conductor cable to thermostat location for future ac/heat use. The new Honeywell thermostat needed power that the old one did not need. Installation of thermostat and transformer was quick and easy. I ran 2 wires from new transformer using 2 wires from the new 7 wire cable with no issues.See full review

I give 4 stars because these are really nice, warm, comfortable socks, but the material is maybe not the best. Other pros: they're pretty long, so they cover your entire ankle, and the traction on the bottoms is flat, so you don't feel it much when walking on a hard floor. Cons: they do shed a fair amount of fuzz, at least for the first couple of washings. Two socks in the pack had small holes in the toe area when I got them. Absolutely love this rain fly . Took it out 2 weeks ago and we ended up having a severe storm come through and stayed nice and dry . It got a little intense at one point as the wind and rain really picked up but the rain fly stayed right where I needed it . Am very happy and pleased with this product . After a torturous install, the end result is good. There are a few design flaws with this product and they make installation very difficult. First after finishing install (1st attempt) the base spun around when the on-off lever was actuated. No end of tightening would keep the base from turning. As an aside the parts designed for tightening will not do the job. I won’t go into how they should be redesigned. Back to my solution.
