These are non noise canceling headphones. They tried to redefine what noise-cancellation means by saying that the microphone has some sort of noise-cancelling property, but that's not what noise-cancellation means. With noise cancellation, the headphones make noise to cancel out outside noise, hence the word "cancellation". These do nothing. They aren't even designed to fully cover the ear to isolate your sound. For the price this is very bad. The sound quality in a completely silent environment is normal. They're also far from the most comfortable. It's hard to recommend them to anyone. You're better off with cheap headphones.
