not really a balancing charger

A true balancing charger will balance cells while charging. This one charges each cell independently, until it reaches 4.2V. So no balancing. But, the safety of not overcharging is included.

Pros

Grandson smoked the one that came with the car, bought this as replacement. Saved the day

Cons

Charging time is longer than other models in its price range
