I used to buy expensive knives and was only disappointed when they quickly broke or became dull. My grandfather gave me some old paraphernalia and there was a paring knife from the 50's that stayed sharp and was light weight and wonderful. I didn't think there was a way to get more, but I stumbled upon these knives that looked the same. But the price seemed too low for such a great knife. Turns out these are the hottest little things. There is no chance of the shaft detaching from the blade (like other knives I've bought). These are the perfect knives that I might one day pass on to my grandkids (sorry for the shitty ending)
