Ok, first the reaason I gave it 4 starts for assembly; I'm 67 years old and things aren't easy for me anymore. Now, the assembly only amounted to screwing on the legs by hand and placing 'U' shaped fasteners to hold the unit togeter. THAT WAS IT!. The unit is easily set up and rearranged, although I left the ottomans loose so I can adjust at will. The cushions are firm and great for my back. The best part is, because it's modular, if I ever have a problem with any of the units in the future, (Which is why I needed a new couch!) I don't have to buy a whole couch, I just buy one replacemnet sectional! I like it, you might like it too.
