This dress style is like many others, empire waist so it will hide a number of figure flaws, but it also adds extra material in the stomach area where it shouldn’t be. The dress does have a side zipper that helps the fit to be more form fitting and flattering if you are the exact size as the size chart. I found the bust area not to be as generous as the size chart stated, so it you don’t want to be crushed order a size up. I am not in love with the material, but will give it a try. I am 5’10” and this dress still hits the floor with 2.5 inch heels on. Also another issue would be the sleeves, they very short. In order for you not to look funny you would have to push the sleeves up to a 3/4 length style, that is disappointing. For the price, I hope they read the reviews and correct their pattern measurements so more tall people might take advantage of their items. If not, this will be my first and las purchase from this company due to the higher price and the bust, waist and sleeve fit. Hopefully this will help someone out there and the company will listen and make a change for what the measurements of real people are actually like.
