I was hesitant to buy this based on reviews that the product is not soft. I find softness the perfect level. Not rough, abrasive and not fluffy, cushioning. It's what you'd expect from bamboo, almost like t-shirt material. The photographs use a typical cotton circle for comparison. And as seen after a wash, some of the cartridges came out slightly warped due to drying. But they all (mostly) kept their shape and softness. The circles are sewn well and are of good thickness. I use with toner and they have good absorbency. Super happy with the purchase and I would highly recommend this product.
