I use these instead of cotton balls for toner and makeup remover. I don't feel like they take up too much of my products (no more than a cotton swab, anyway). They took 2 cycles in the dryer to fully dry which is not a big deal for me as I do all my laundry in one day so they can just stay inside. If you plan to use them to remove makeup at the end of the day, don't buy. They soak up all the makeup remover to the point where they almost feel dry and then you can't rub them on your face hard enough to remove makeup :( they are too harsh on your face I bought them because I wanted to be more resilient but I use a regular cotton pad AFTER using these and they remove more makeup than this :( I think I can use them as coasters.

I was hesitant to buy this based on reviews that the product is not soft. I find softness the perfect level. Not rough, abrasive and not fluffy, cushioning. I would give 5 stars except they are just a little out of round (especially after a few washes) and therefore don't quite fit in the container which bothers my OCD a bit of a mess. I love the container! I love rounds! They are very easy to wash. I throw them into the hygiene cycle along with our towels, sheets and masks and then into the dryer with them. They don't dry as quickly as towels and sheets, so I take them out of the laundry bag, lay them out, and let them dry. Trust him to clean them

I use this with water in the morning to refresh my face before applying other skin care products. They absorb well and ensure a gentle peeling. I don't use them with toner or micellar water as the pad absorbs most of the product, so I use 2-3 times more product than I would with a disposable cotton pad.
