Suitable for Firewire audio interface In excellent condition I bought this for a fifth of its retail price. Have heard mixed opinions on forums and elsewhere about the power connector and whether or not the interface requires it. I decided to plug it in anyway before trying the card without it first and regret not having done so. The wires in the connector are ketchup and mustard for those who care about looks, more importantly, they feel free in the plastic part itself. Trying to connect it was incredibly difficult, it seemed to get stuck halfway and wouldn't come loose, and there's a capacitor right next to where you want to apply pressure as a lever to either attach or detach it, so is it could slip off so easily and damage it or even break the circuit board - which I could easily do with the force I used in pulling it out. I don't know if it's fully plugged in or not, my interface works fine and I'll probably give it all up if I switch to a mobo with Thunderbolt and just buy an adapter.
