Comfortable, even on my big head. This is a light feeling cotton/poly blend that dries fast and doesn't get all bogged up with sweat when things get hot. Both snaps work, and brim is wide enough to keep the sun off the tops of my ears. It doesn't get all 5 stars because 1) the plastic clasp on the drawcord is pretty darn cheap, don't expect it to last long. And 2) there is no brow liner to soak up sweat like you would find in a ball cap or straw hat. so not the nicest feel on your forehead, but it still works. On the other hand, you can roll this hat up and pack it away without ruining it and that's a plus. Overall pretty satisfied with the hat, especially given the price.
