Review on ๐Ÿ”ฌ Enhanced Precision for Apera Instruments' Conductivity Accuracy by Kevin Woods

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ok with some features

I've been using this in my hydroponic system for a while now and feel I've learned a lot about the product. calibrated)* waterproof, no need to worry about dropping it* very good build quality, nice touch and solid compared to my old cheap $10 TDS pen* comes with calibration solution in nice bottles* has a really nice case, although I use mine almost daily so I don't use a case * it was well calibrated from the factory. Cons: * It seems that calibration is lost quickly and starts to drift. Not sure if this is user error or not, but I have to calibrate relatively often and also soak the sensor in 12.88 calibration solution or it will drift. A smiley face icon will appear indicating the reading is ready, but the reading will continue to increase past this point for 5-10+ minutes, which is not how it should work. * Backlight or something else would be nice, it can be difficult to read the screen if in my solution * setting the unit from Auto -> us/cm causes the sensor to stop working, I had to factory reset it reset to default. * non-replaceable sensor, so when yours wears out, the whole unit is fried. All in all it was a nice addition to my Apera PH20 and I see no real reason for an upgrade other than maybe a backlight issue.
