I bought this before ever trying to cut dovetails by hand before thinking it would be good training to do so. I tried a simple 90 degree cut 3 times and all 3 times were significantly off compared to a known good square. The 3rd try resulted in the jig being damaged when the saw tilted slightly and cut into the aluminum.Then, I decided I would try to cut without the jig and just free-hand it. I got it perfectly square the first try, and it was faster than using the jig and took less effort. It's a cool concept but it just does not work.
